HOW TO BE REMEMBERED?

Tuesday, May 1st, 2007

"I am not a writer so don’t expect this to be great (just good…joke!)"

Due to my summer boredom, I decided to browse my friends multilply accounts. Since I am doing nothing but watching tv, eating, and sleeping for the past weeks, something went into my mind. I  want to write something for my blog but… I can’t think of something interesting to write (for ages).

While checking on Mae Pang’s multiply account, I read something on her blog that really caught me..

"neil armstrong mendoza satoquia once said, to be remembered, you have to do three things…."

*I think that it is very interesting and would be a great if I shared this to everyone.

Neil Armstrong Satoquia on "The Three Things You Could Do To Be Remembered"

*you could do either all,two or even only one*

Sir Satoquia was our  English 101B professor last semester. Believe me, he’s really really good. On our first meetings, he taught us the three things for us to do if we want to be remembered. I like to be remembered when I died.

  • Write A Book. Well, I know it’s hard to achieve especially when you’re not into writing. I think it can only be possible for those who really have potential. I’m sad because I’m not one of them…lucky YOU if you could.

  • Plant A Tree. I know, it’s weird but you could really be remembered by this act. All you have to do is plant a tree in a place where it would be protected and would not be destroyed. Then, be sure to put your name on it. This is done in tree planting activities and in schools. It is probably the easiest among the three so be sure to do it… capish?

  • Father Or Mother A Child.  What would be the best thing to do to be remembered than to parent a child. It would be the best, I think, since you’re child or children would be the living, walking, perfect *whatever you call it* example or proof of your existence on earth. Your offspring would not only represent himself but also his father and mother or even his ancestry.
